There are perils regarding our carnal nature. I was reminded this week of Paul’s words in the book of Romans.
“For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.”
As Christians we attempt to perform the good thing of waiting on the Lord but there is a tug-of-war inside of us. The spirit says be grateful and give thanks, while the flesh is never satisfied. The appetite of our carnal nature is never full. It will not rest in the bed of contentment and say, “Yes, I have everything I need.”
I am posting my fourth episode of the podcast, Love and Grace, to share with you my discussion of a key element to waiting on the Lord: Contentment. Some of you have already listened in to part one and I pray this next episode will bless you.
We find the road of waiting much easier when we learn how to say,
“Yes God, I am satisfied with what you have done for me right now.”

I thank the Lord that he has made each of us so uniquely that we each have different ideas of what constitutes handsome- Also, for women anyway, intelligence humor and kindness in a man can actually change the way he looks to you so that he becomes attractive!

SPLENDID MESSAGE AND SPIRITUAL
God’s words are always true, brings liberty, transformation and happiness.
The psalms say, when the Lord turns the captivity of Zion we were like them that dreams.
The word, is
1.liberating and
2.transforming
man’s carnal nature.
with the word , man’s carnal nature or captivity ,will be transformed and liberated.
As Paul said we should continue to pray always for the days are evil.
our carnal mind brings evil ,so with prayer and the word, man will overcome.
